Want to Work for Bagel Joy?

We're growing the Bagel Joy team! Are you interested in joining us, part-time, as an evening and/or early-morning baker?
Previous experience is not necessary and we will train.

Great flexibility for students or anyone looking to add part-time income on a predictable schedule without delivering or dealing directly with customers. Work on a small team (2 or 3) in a friendly, low-pressure, but very busy shared kitchen, surrounded by many other enthusiastic companies  operating ghost-kitchens, catering, and other delicious food startups.

Prep shifts (2 available, Thursday and Friday evenings 5:30 PM - 10:00 PM). Mixing and rolling bagels, cream cheese mixing and packaging, sandwich prep, bagging, clean up.

Baking shifts (3 available, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 3:00 AM - 8:00 AM). Boiling and baking bagels, clean up, and some packaging.

You will gain experience in a licensed, inspected commercial kitchen. Great position for someone just starting out in food service. High school or college-aged students are encouraged to apply, even if you can only fill some of the available shifts. The plan is for this to convert to a (full-time eligible) role opening a bricks-and-mortar counter-service bagel shop in 2022.

Send an email with the shifts that you're interested in to david@bageljoy.com

  • I would like to order 18 bagels for pick up at the Christmas Market in Manassas on Saturday. The website wouldn’t let me order. Is it possible?
